1HKU 17/11/2009 'Avatar' Score Details RevealedJames Horner's score for Avatar gets an official site, and has an awesome audio sample of the track "Into the Na'vi World"! Today, Atlantic Records issued the first details about the score. There are 13 tracks from composer James Horner (Titanic) comprising the pure score. The final track, titled "I See You (Theme From 'Avatar')," features vocals from Grammy-nominated singer Leona Lewis. The score drops on December 15th (December 14th internationally) , three days shy of the movie, and is currently available for pre-order at AvatarScore.com. WIth all the marketing focusing on cutting-edge technology and space weaponry and battle cries, there's something we're not really talking about with regard to Avatar -- it's probably going to have a lot in common with Titanic. The plot elements are all there -- a forbidden love set against an action backdrop, two people coming together from two different worlds to try to unite, and let's face it, probably some kind of tragic ending.
Lewis worked with composer James Horner and Simon Franglen on the song, the same two guys who created "My Heart Will Go On." Yes, all the elements are coming into place. Will Leona Lewis be the Celine Dion of Avatar? 13/11/2009 Rachel McAdams as Black Cat in Spider-Man 4? (Updated)11/17 Update:
“That’s a total rumor, I have to say,” the actress, who will next be seen in the Dec. 25 action-adventure tentpole Sherlock Holmes, tells EW. “I was hanging out in Toronto the other day and someone came up to me and said, ‘I just heard you’re doing Spider-Man 4.‘ And I said, ‘Really? No one told me!’ It’s not true.” A rep for Sony Pictures concurs: “It’s an Internet rumor, as so many things are these days.” (From EW) a pity.. Although personally I hope Rachel McAdams will be Black Cat, it is still a good idea to have a villainess is Spider-Man 4, question remains - who would you want to see as Black Cat?
The Internet loves casting rumors, but the gears of speculation are always at their highest when the topic is a superhero. Or, more accurately, who a superhero is going to be fighting in his/her's next trip to the big screen; and with Spider-Man 4 snowballing into production, the rumors have once again begun swirling around who Spidey is going to be web-punching this time around. First reports that Dylan Baker would finally be transforming into The Lizard seemed to confirm Sam Raimi's return to making a single-villain picture, but now a new name has been tossed into the ring.

Rachel McAdams Mania.com is reporting that their sources have cited Rachel McAdams as in talks with the film's producers to take on the role of Felicia Hardy, also known as Black Cat. If you're unfamiliar with the character, she is a sometimes good, sometimes bad cat burglar who, in addition to being a possible love interest of the web-crawler's, tries to use her less-than-legal prowess to break her father out of jail. It would be an interesting spin to have villainess for part four, but it's unclear at this point as to whether or not the film's Black Cat will ultimately be friend or foe.

Ultimate Black Cat as seen here in the cover to Ultimate Spider-Man #82. Art by Mark Bagley. A bigger shake-up to the film's line-up could come by way of the second bit of Mania's news, which stakes that the producers are also currently out casting a male villain. Assuming Raimi hasn't already broken with his desire to keep the baddies solo, this would mean that Dr. Curt Connors is not fulfilling his destiny as The Lizard after all, despite Dylan Baker confirming he'd be returning in the role. It's all very fluid and salty at this point, but if Mania's sources are indeed correct, Spider-Man 4 has either multiplied its villains once again or kept The Lizard caged until a later date. So we will have Black Cat in Spider-Man 4, Black Widow in Iron Man 2, and probably Catwoman in the next Batman? Interesting... 03/11/2009 'Michael Jackson' Strikes Top Spot
Michael Jackson's This Is It was all there was as far as new nationwide releases went this Halloween weekend, but it was sufficient to help propel overall business nine percent higher than the same timeframe last year. Though it may not be commensurate with the raft of pre-release hype surrounding the movie and Michael Jackson's death, This Is It performed exceptionally well for a concert picture or music documentary, charting second only to the opening of the Hannah Montana concert. It raked in an estimated $21.3 million on approximately 5,500 screens at 3,481 sites, ranking as the fifth highest-grossing Halloween debut on record, and has grossed $32.5 million in five and a half days. Add in foreign grosses of an estimated $68.5 million from 98 countries, and This Is It's five-day worldwide haul was $101 million, which exceeded the lifetime tally of the Hannah Montana concert. While morbid curiosity was part of the appeal, spurred on a bit by the Halloween release, This Is It was promoted as a celebration of Michael Jackson's music and a look at his final creation. Ads also played a trick by declaring a two-week-only engagement, in order to encourage people to rush to see the movie, and, once they had, distributor Sony Pictures predictably extended the run. Sony's exit polling indicated that 51 percent of the audience was female, and 62 percent was over 25 years old. Paranormal Activity continued to scare up significant numbers in its third weekend of nationwide release. Its theater count crept up to 2,404 and business retreated 22 percent to an estimated $16.5 million. Its total climbed to $84.8 million in 38 days, eclipsing the final grosses of The Ring Two and The Exorcism of Emily Rose among other supernatural horror movies. The best one could say about the other major horror release, Saw VI, is that it had a smaller second weekend percentage drop than Saw IV and Saw V. Bleeding 61 percent, Saw VI grossed a mere estimated $5.6 million, lifting its tally to $22.8 million in ten days. At its current pace, its final gross may not even match the opening weekend grosses of the previous four Saw movies. While the Saw franchise's hemorrhaging has been noteworthy, it was Where the Wild Things Are that saw the steepest decline among nationwide releases. It plummeted 64 percent to an estimated $5.1 million for a $61.8 million total in 17 days. Law Abiding Citizen and Couples Retreat held better with falls in the low 40 percent range. Citizen grabbed an estimated $7.3 million for a solid $51.4 million in 17 days, while Couples collected an estimated $6.1 million for a lively $86.7 million in 24 days. Amelia had the smallest drop among nationwide releases after expanding to 1,070 sites (down 23 percent), but it still only mustered an estimated $3 million for a low-flying $8.3 million tally in ten days. The other second weekend pictures, Astro Boy and Cirque du Freak: The Vampire's Assistant, each tumbled around 55 percent from their poor openings. Meanwhile, The Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day debuted at 68 sites and delivered a modest estimated $462,000. Predecessor The Boondock Saints played only five theaters nearly ten years ago and made just $30,471, but it developed a far greater audience on home video and beyond. Distributor Apparition plans to expand the sequel on Nov. 13. From boxofficemojo.com 01/11/2009 Full-Length Trailer for AvatarFinally the 3½ minute trailer for James Cameron's Avatar is in glorious high def on Yahoo. Oct. 29th, I waited for the trailer until 1 o'clock in the morning (and it was 30th already), the trailer was supposed to be released at that time (pacific time 10 AM), but I didn't see it until the afternoon - -. But it is still worth waiting. James has proved Avatar is more than a video-game-like movie, more than giant creatures on a strange planet, blue Na'vi aliens, it's a story about love and survival and the importance of life. And human being has become the villain. Jake Sully has to make a choice between remaining loyal to the human race or stopping the plundering of Pandora by these alien invaders from Earth. It's not only the never-before-used technology in this movie attracts me, but also the story (kinda like Pocahontas). It's truly stunning. And is probably the best trailer I have ever seen. The movie is going to be epic. Ejoy the trailer below~ Just can't wait to see Avatar~ (sadly it won't be in theaters of China until January - -) By Eddie
A voice says "Are You Jake Sully? " We see Sully arriving on Pandora in his wheelchair. A man says "I'd like to talk to you about a fresh start on a new world. You'd be making a difference." We see some shots of Pandora, similar to what we've seen before: misty forests, soldiers trotting off aircraft. Sully says, "I became a marine for the hardship. Told myself I can pass any test a man can pass. All I ever wanted was a single thing worth fighting for." We see more shots of Pandora, including the Thanator, and hear a little of Colonial Quaritch's speech, "Ladies and gentlemen, you're not in Kansas anymore. You're on Pandora." And Michelle Rodriguez's character, Trudy Chacon, flying a helicopter comments, "You should see your faces." Quaritch continues, "We have an indigenous population called the Na'vi. They are very hard to kill." We see a floating bit on unobtainium. Someone says: "This is why we're here. Because this little gray rock sells for 20 million a kilo."' We see a holographic representation of the Na'vi village. "Their village happens to be resting on the richest deposit and they need to re-locate." Giovanni Ribisi's character says to Sigourney Weaver's Grace, "Those savages are threatening our whole operation. We're on the brink of war, and you're supposed to be finding a diplomatic solution." We see Sully again. "The concept is to drive these remotely controlled bodies called avatars." We see the Avatars. "They're grown from human DNA mixed with DNA of the natives." Quaritch says, "A marine in an Avatar body, that's a potent mix." He's in the AMP Suit. "You get me what I need, I'll see to it you get your legs back. Your real legs." Sully replies, "Oh yeah sir." Norm Spellman and Sully look at Sully's Avatar in a tank. Spellman tells him, "Looks like you, this is your Avatar." Grace and Sully are in the medical bay as she is about to connect him to the Avatar. "Just relax and let your mind go blank. It shouldn't be hard for you." Sully connects to the Avatar, and the next thing we see is him and another Avatar in a helicopter. Sully is whooping. There is a montage of moments from Pandora. A voiceover says, "Jake, it's real simple. I want you to learn from the inside. I want you to gain their trust." We see Neytiri, and she tells him, "You should not be here." She shoves him away. "Go back. All this is your fault." He says to her, "I need your help." Then there is more montage, lots of falling and flying Banshees, and experience on Pandora. In between, we cut to Quaritch asking Jake, "Haven't gotten lost in the woods have you? d'you forget what team you're playing for? " We see helicopters over Pandora and Sully comments, "The strong prey on the weak and nobody does a thing." Someone says, "You've got one hour." (to Sully I guess) The helicopters close in on the Na'vi. Neytiri, looking wounded, asks, "You knew this would happen?" To which Sully, in Avatar form, replies, "Everything changed." As the battle ramps up, someone says, "Jake, it's crazy here. Woolrich is rolling and there's no stopping him." Michelle Rodriguez's character says, "We're going up against gunships with bows and arrows." To which Sully replies, "Then I guess we'd better stop him." From there on out, it's a lot of war, with Banshees, helicopters, and guns. A voiceover says, "They've sent us a message, that they can take whatever they want. But we will send them a message. That this ... this is our land!" Angels & DemonsSony has released the first teaser trailer for Ron Howards Da Vinci Code follow-up, Angels & Demons. Like any good teaser should, it sucks you, hits you with a twist, and leaves you wanting more.
Angels & Demons is scheduled to hit theaters on May 15th 2009.
Half as angel Half as demon
P.S.:ROTF=Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen
NO.4 The Day the Earth Stood Still 地球停转之日
If you survive the Earth dies but if you die the Earth survives(假如地球灭亡,你也会死去;但假如你死去,地球将会存活),似乎为整个影片定下了环境保护论的基调,这也是某种与时俱进的标志吧。
NO.3 Australia
NO.2 The Spirit
NO.1 High School Musical 3: Senior Year 歌舞青春3:毕业季
抢先发布的三首歌“Now or Never”、“I Want It All”、“A Night To Remember”都超好听。
。 08/09/2008 Trip to BeijingDay 1
We started with a very very boring meeting, a LOT of speech, teacher and student, student and teacher, blah blah blah.. And since then we have several reporters following us around..
at 11:30 we set off.
There was nothing special during the 3-hour ride except I secretly took a photo of CD~
And I also listened to the Original Soundtrack of <Camp Rock> on the bus, I like the song "This is me" and "Gotta find you".
He didn’t notice.. till now.. It turned out that there was nothing to do but sleep, nobody wants to talk and I thought I really should take a nap then, and I did. I fell asleep really soon, when I woke up we’re already in Fuzhou.
About 4:30, we got on the train.
Day 2
11:41 We arrived in Beijing
(Thank GOD..) 。 Day 3

Hummer

For "Harry Potter" and Hollywood, eight is the magic number.
Warner Bros. Pictures and the producers behind the $4.5-billion film franchise featuring the beloved boy wizard will split the seventh and final novel in the J.K. Rowling series into two films. "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I" will hit theaters in November 2010, followed by "Part II" in May 2011, a decision that is being met around the world with fans' cheers but also plenty of cynical smirks. The publishing industry is learning to live without new "Potter" releases, but Hollywood just pulled off a trick that will keep its profitable hero on his broom into the next decade. Any twist in the "Potter" universe is the stuff of global news bulletins. The books were a publishing sensation. And to an entire generation, the film saga has become a heartfelt touchstone on the level of "The Wizard of Oz" and as culturally and commercially ubiquitous as the "Star Wars" series. For all those reasons, everyone involved in the franchise is jumping forward to say an eighth film would be to serve the story, not the bottom line. Daniel Radcliffe, the star of the franchise, said it was the dense action of the final novel that made the decision, not any executive or ledger. "I think it's the only way you can do it, without cutting out a huge portion of the book," Radcliffe said. "There have been compartmentalized subplots in the other books that have made them easier to cut -- although those cuts were still to the horror of some fans -- but the seventh book doesn't really have any subplots. It's one driving, pounding story from the word go." The same could be said about the relentless "Potter" franchise, which hit screens for the first time in 2001. The five "Potter" films to date have averaged $282 million in U.S. grosses, but the overall receipts go well beyond that. The faces of the stars stare out from DVDs, video games, tie-in books, toys, clothing, candy wrappers and a staggering array of other items. By some estimates, the brand represents a $20-billion enterprise, and that's without the planned "Potter"-themed complex opening next year at the Universal Orlando Resort in Florida. Extending the "Potter" franchise is a boon to the studio and to its parent, media giant Time Warner, where recently named Chief Executive Jeffrey Bewkes is reining in costs with moves such as the recent gutting of New Line Cinema. Time Warner's stock price has stagnated since its merger with America Online eight years ago. Right now, Radcliffe and his costars are filming the sixth installment in the franchise, "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince," at an old aircraft factory outside London. "It's been brilliant," Radcliffe said of the production. "It's also, I think, the funniest of the films so far." Radcliffe is now 18 and, by the final film, will have spent half of his life in the role of the scarred orphan who finds friendship and danger within the stone corridors of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Each film (following the construct of the novels) has been framed by a school year. Producer David Heyman, a key figure in the films from Day One, was reluctant to depart from that and make the last book into two movies. "Unlike every other book, you cannot remove elements of this book," Heyman said. "You can remove scenes of Ron playing Quidditch from the fifth book, and you can remove Hermione and S.P.E.W. [Society for the Promotion of Elfish Welfare] and those subplots . . . but with the seventh, that can't be done." Rowling, who signed off on the idea of a two-part finale, has been a more frequent visitor to the sixth movie's set than with previous installments. One big reason is that she is no longer busy trying to finish the "next" "Potter" book; she walked away from her signature character in July, when the climactic "Deathly Hallows" hit stores and sold a record 11 million copies in its first 24 hours on shelves. Alan Horn, president and chief operating officer of Warner Bros. Entertainment, will be in Las Vegas today to talk up the "Potter" plans at ShoWest, a key annual conference of movie exhibitors. Horn said Wednesday that "it would have been a disservice" to downsize "Deathly Hallows" into one film. "This way, we have an extra hour and a half, at least, to celebrate what this franchise has been and do justice to all the words and ideas that Jo has put in the amazing story," Horn said. "This is the end of the story too. We want to celebrate it. We want to give a full meal." David Yates, director of the fifth and sixth films, will return and make the final two films concurrently. Screenwriter Steve Kloves also returns, and, by the completion of the franchise, he will have written seven of the eight films. They will be adapting a seventh book with 759 pages packed with action and twists and turns in the race toward the final conflict between Potter and the dark lord who murdered his parents, the serpentine Lord Voldemort. Reviewing last summer for The Times, Mary McNamara wrote: "What Rowling has achieved in this book and the series can be described only as astonishing. Just as her characters have matured, the language and tone of the books have grown in sophistication and lyricism. But she has never lost the sense of wonder that has propelled her into literary legend." After the dust settles, the book ends with an epilogue that finds the main characters -- Harry, Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley -- grown up, married and 19 years removed from Hogwarts. Horn said that particular denouement has the filmmakers fretting about how to keep the young familiar stars on the screen just before it goes dark. "That," Horn said, "is something we will need to deal with. People have watched these kids grow up, and it's been very special to do so. That's important to us." Heyman said splitting "Deathly Hallows" is the right narrative formula, but the next problem is figuring out the division. As he put it: "The question will be, where do you break it? And how do you make them one but two separate and distinct stories? Do you break it with a moment of suspense or one of resolution?" Horn said that screenwriter Kloves has already latched on to an approach that might work. Rowling could not be reached for comment, but the most recent entry on her website journal declared that "Hallows" stands as her favorite among the novels -- and that saying goodbye to Harry is never easy. "It was the ending I had planned for 17 years, and there was more satisfaction than you can probably imagine in finally sharing it with my readers," Rowling wrote. "As for mourning Harry -- and I doubt I will be believed when I say this -- nobody can have felt the end as deeply as I did." 26/02/2008 80th Academy Awards
